We use sport as an entry point to engage communities, improve health, reduce inequalities, and create pathways into education, employment, and leadership.
STREETS delivers practical, community-based programmes in trusted settings such as schools, faith centres, community venues, and health environments. Our work is designed to support people who may be underserved, disengaged, isolated, or facing barriers to opportunity.
Our approach follows a simple model:
Engage → Build Trust → Support Behaviour Change → Create Pathways
We use sport and physical activity to bring people in, build relationships through trusted community settings, and then connect participants to wider support, learning, volunteering, employment, and leadership opportunities.
This means our programmes are not just about activity. They are about long-term change.
We work with young people at risk of exclusion, disengagement, or involvement in anti-social behaviour. Through sport, mentoring, and structured activity, we support confidence, emotional regulation, teamwork, and positive decision-making.

We deliver preventative health and wellbeing programmes that support physical activity, mental wellbeing, and social connection.
This includes 12-week community-based interventions such as Chair Aerobics, delivered through trusted local settings and Primary Care Networks to support older adults and people experiencing health inequalities.
We create safe, inclusive, and culturally appropriate spaces for women and girls to take part in sport and physical activity.
Our work supports confidence, wellbeing, leadership, and increased access to opportunities in communities where barriers to participation may exist.
Example programme: Women and Girls Multi-Sport Hub

We support refugees, asylum seekers, and newly arrived communities through sport, social connection, language development, and wellbeing support.
These programmes help participants build confidence, develop friendships, access support, and feel part of their local community.
We use sport as a route into learning, skills development, volunteering, work experience, and employment.
Our programmes support young people and adults to build confidence, gain experience, and progress into positive pathways.
We identify and support grassroots talent, particularly in communities that may not always have access to traditional sporting pathways.
Through partnerships with clubs, governing bodies, and local organisations, we create opportunities for participants to progress in sport, coaching, leadership, and personal development.
We support organisations to design inclusive, sustainable community sport programmes that engage underrepresented groups and create long-term impact.
Our work includes national research, programme design, and delivery models developed in partnership with organisations such as the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

We work with schools and colleges to improve enrichment provision, increase student engagement, and strengthen personal development outcomes.
Our approach helps institutions create structured pathways that support confidence, wellbeing, and future opportunities.
We deliver practical, high-impact programmes within communities, combining sport, creativity, and learning to support participation, confidence, and wellbeing.
Our work includes multi-sport delivery, arts, and edutainment across schools and community settings..
Our work is different because we:
This allows us to create lasting impact, not just short-term activity.
We partner with organisations across health, education, sport, local government, and community sectors.
